WHO IS BEHIND MAPPORA?
In 2018, a French cartographer searched for a gift combining his passion and a travel souvenir with his loved one. He looked for a map with an aesthetic design of a pretty town in the Pyrenees mountains. He failed to find one, so... he created it!
That’s how the first map of this beautiful adventure began.
Today, bringing city maps as a personalized and intimate gift is our mission. Our creativity ensures that every style we produce is dedicated to a perfect render in your decoration and features the finest in materials, printing methods, and sustainability.
Our history and how all of this adventure begins
As a French cartographer, I thought of creating something to merge mapping and drawing. It came to my mind to create city maps with a sleek design that I could combine with specific shapes according to everyone's ideas.
My wish was to create city maps and posters that recall a solid and unforgettable moment. Crystallizing an event, a memory, a place, or an emotion using one of my creations was and remains my ultimate goal.

"Why represent Lisbon in a boxing glove," you say? My response is that this is where someone won their first fight.
"New York in the mountains?" For a hiker who lives in New York and feels good there, it's a great birthday present.
"Espelette in a pepper shape?" I think you got it! (if you're not, I invite you to go and see this beautiful French village)!

Since 2018, Mappora has been evolving and growing every year. At first, it was a secondary activity for the founder. And now, Mappora has more than 1000 customers all over the world!
